It’s a double sock system, a sock within a sock !  It helps protect the sensitive compromised DIABETIC FOOT from friction and ’shearing stress’ that is the stress of surfaces moving against one another that causes blistering and potentially ULCERATION. ’Duraspun Smart Yarns’ help wick moisture away from the feet, the fibres also help reduce growth of bacteria & fungi. A super comfortable, safe sock it’s as seam free as possible and has an elasticated area at the arch. A super buy and part of the fight against potential diabetic foot problems ! You may need some extra room in your shoes for this thicker sock. Also useful at  keeping blisters away in Hill walking and Army boots.
